From My Homeschool Heart

There were days when I wondered if I was doing enough.

Did we finish enough lessons?

Did I explain that concept well enough?

Did I remember to sign up for co-op, return the library books, and thaw something for dinner?

Like so many homeschool moms, I carried a long list of responsibilities that often felt invisible to everyone else.

But now, looking back, I realize my children won't remember whether we finished every worksheet.

They'll remember that we learned together.

They'll remember the books we read aloud on the couch, the spontaneous science experiments in the kitchen, the laughter during field trips, and the conversations that happened because we simply had the gift of time together.

Being a stay-at-home mama and a full-time teacher isn't always easy.
