From My Homeschool Heart

There was a time when someone casually asked me if I "worked."

I smiled and answered, "Yes...I'm a stay-at-home mom."

But inside, I couldn't help but laugh a little.

Because homeschooling taught me that staying home doesn't mean doing less. It means wearing more hats than I ever imagined possible.

Teacher.

Cook.

Librarian.

Field trip planner.

Science lab assistant.

Counselor.

Referee.

Cheerleader.

Prayer warrior.

And above all...Mom.

Some days were exhausting. Some days were messy. And many days ended with unfinished lessons and dishes still in the sink.
